Hugh Colvin
Sport has always been an integral part of Hugh’s life. His experience is wide ranging and he has spent six seasons living and working in the French Alps including three years coaching and teaching skiing. Over the last few years he has taken up triathlon and cycling and he now trains for and competes in Ironman distance triathlons in the UK and abroad.
Hugh holds a certificate in Personal Training from the YMCA including modules on training outdoors and in the home and nutrition and weight management.
Hugh sees himself as a fairly traditional trainer believing in empathy, good teaching and motivation and a little bit of hard work and self-discipline. He is passionate about getting people outdoors and showing them the positive impact sport, fitness and healthy living can have on their lives. He is also interested in sports specific training for triathlon, skiing, marathon running and rugby.
